The Foreigner (2017) description:
Nguyen Ngoc Minh – once was ready to give his life for his homeland. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War. When the Vietnamese killed his father, Min moved to the US. When the south was defeated, Nguyen did not have time to leave Saigon and was arrested. After serving in prison, and not perishing in the camp for “re-education”, he was released. But staying here is dangerous for him.
After taking the family, Min runs to Hong Kong. Only this road led him to another part of the world. Pirates attacked them, and brutally killed two of his daughters. After this tragedy, the family could no longer live in Asia and moved to London.
Years later, Ming is happy, watching as his youngest daughter grows up. He owns a restaurant. In London, he received the nickname – Chinese.
But trouble again knocked on Nguyen’s life. Irish terrorists made an explosion. As a result, his wife and daughter of the Chinese died. For him, this seems like torture, he no longer has relatives, and he himself is alive … The police are in no hurry to look for the perpetrators of the crime … Nguyen is furious with this. He began his own investigation. He became aware that this terrorist attack was the work of the organization of the IRA. Finding their leader, he learned that a significant part of the group had broken away, which is uncontrollable. They do not listen to the orders of the boss and intend to continue doing whatever they want … Min understood that it was time to throw off the mask of a respectable citizen and remember his past, because he is one of the best blasters in all of Vietnam …
